Any updates with those who have an acceptance at Yeshiva (Clinical PhD - Health Emphasis)??

Wondering if I'm going to have a shot being on the wait list. Thanks!

I will be turning down Yeshiva/Ferkauf Psy.D. and Adelphi Ph.D. in the middle of next week.

Just declined an offer from Idaho State's Clinical PhD program today.

I know this is primarily a Ph.D. forum, but I'm sure most of us applied to some M.A. and M.S. programs as backups so I thought I'd post this here.

That being said, I'll be turning down Mississippi State's offer for their M.S. program as I was accepted at a doc program elsewhere. Good luck everyone!

Good idea, I'll contribute as well. I officially rejected my acceptance to the MS program in Clinical Psy at Missouri State University on 3/23. Good luck to anyone on the waitlist!

Hey

I have an offer from Louisville and will probably be accepting it by the end of the week. You can PM me if you have any other questions.

This may be kind of general, but I'm trying to get a sense of how often offers are declined generally. I'm sure it varies quite a bit from school to school (I'd expect that like at undergrad institutions the more prestigious the offer, the more likely it gets accepted), but I really have no idea. I've only heard back from one of my 3 interviews, but I think its reasonably likely that I'm going to end up being the 2nd or 3rd choice at all 3 and I have no idea what my chances are of getting in anywhere. I'd love to hear from a current grad student or anyone with perspective who could give me a rough idea of how often clinical PhD offers make it past the first choice applicant.

Declined an offer from Nebraska and Minnesota.

*EDIT* these are programs in School Psychology

It happens fairly often at my school. I got in off the waitlist and usually there is at least one candidate per year off the waitlist.

Is there anybody out there who will be declining an offer to the Clinical program at the University of North Dakota?

I got waitlisted by my top choice. How could this happen????????? And they have 3 people on waitlist, and POI says they haven't ranked the waitlisted peeps yet.

But you are my top choice, arrrrhhh my heart is broken:corny:

If anyone declines an admission offer for the Clinical Psychology PhD program at the University of Wyoming, then.....
