The school Im applying to only mentions that you need to include a personal statement, no indicator of any specific issues that they want you to address. Ive found that I am having a heck of a time getting started and anything I do write sounds silly and trite.
My undergraduate GPA was bad, but my graduate GPA was quite good, so is it appropriate to attempt to excuse my poor past academic performance in this statement then counter by noting my upswing, or is it best not even to mention this and only focus on positive things that have happened/I have done.
If no length is specified how long should the p.statement be?
