I know there are a bunch of threads discussing what ppl keep handy with them on the job etc.
This thread is NOT meant to be repeat of that. In fact, it's not even meant to be a discussion thread. To post up what items you bring with you, what sources you find are helpful etc, kindly refer to this thread: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=917358
Rather, I'd love to start a thread (which who knows, may turn into a Sticky) for posting the ACTUAL quick reference cheat-sheets you keep with YOU on the job, which aren't otherwise easily found online or in a (iPhone) app, etc. Or even, basic stuff (abx choices, drip start rates etc) that for those of us who've been using CPOE (electronic order entry) for so long with the existing presets/checkboxes, that it behooves us to keep this info available for quick reference for when we go to not-so-sophisticated places to work.
Here's what I carry with me on my iPhone (I take pics of what I think is important, and leave it on my iPhone under a Camera Roll folder named "Medical")
*Disclaimer: Sure, a lot of this I should know, but I rather have something to back me up when it's a critical situation, than try to go off memory, or be rummaging through textbooks/online references to find the answer*
My hospital-acquired PNA pathway, with mult. drug substitutions based on allergies and pregnancy status (I've had to get REALLY creative at times based on mult. drug allergies):
Infant Febrile Illness Abx Choices + CSF Tests:
Everything you need to know about meningitis, including post-surgical, shunts, and fx:
Haven't had to use this yet, but just in case...approp. CVL sizes in Peds:
High Dose Insulin Euglycemic Therapy Protocol (Beta blocker & Calcium Channel Blocker Toxicity) - Note, I was trained at Pinnacle Tox to use up to 10 IU/kg/hr, but this is the nicest format I could find the protocol in):
Lipid Rescue Therapy (when all else fails):
Unusual/Infrequent OD Toxidromes:
