This is unequivocally the future of medicine. It's long overdue and thank heavens for IBM for actually trying to solve the ridiculous inefficiency in medicine. The last thing we need is to increase the number of physicians. We need more mid-levels and smart tools like this to help them facilitate care. The higher level functions should be left to physicians. This is an inevitable consequence of technology implementation and further automation in economies.

For example, how inconceivable would it be to have NPs/PAs run surgical floors and then surgeons spent all their time in the OR where they are of the most value?

This basically already happens a lot of surgical services.

as long as they make clear which diagnoses are sponsored by advertisers, it'll be ok."

I drink food grade 35% hydrogen peroxide in distilled water so there are no toxic impurities. I am in the process of writing a health care plan to submit to my legislators regarding firing the FDA, EPA, AMA, Career politicians that cowtow to the BIG PHARMA.

Lmao what's the deal with the hydrogen peroxide?

Either way I do think the FDA does cater to pharmaceutical companies a bit.
