Do toothbrushes using nylon/polyester and rubber bristles last longer than the more common nylon or nylon polyester blend toothbrushes?

E.g. the example shown here:

I am finding it difficult obtaining journals comparing the use of rubber bristles to nylon/polyester bristiles. Do these type of toothbrushes last longer and are they better?

With those toothbrushes, the rubber "bristles" are usually serving some other purpose -- gum stimulators, polishing, etc. The normal nylon bristles are still the primary bristles and are no different from any other brush --> 3 months is still recommended.

As for whether these rubber bristles do what they say... not sure... 😕
