I think your advice is so general lol
I took a few years off, so glad I did. am well positioned, an actual value add. I guess caveat is that I also had all the support and resources I needed to have made these gap years worthwhile and fun. can see how for some it is not as financially ideal to do it but still. some people need the time to grow up, enjoy life, and not be a hamster in the wheel.
if you make good investments you'll make that 1-2m dollar loss back easy
