Just curious, when deciding on a dental school are you also factoring in your college boyfriend/girlfriend (i.e. pick Molar University because it is close to where their sig. other will be)? If so, how much?

I chose my dental school so that it's closer to where my family is.

Mine chose to follow me 😀 Totally and completely depends on your relationship and what he or she is doing with his/her life when you start school.

Its been 5 yrs...so I'm choosing a school that is in the same region. My school choice should give plenty of options though in terms of employment and entertainment for my partner while I'm slaving away.

My girlfriend follows me everywhere.

Oh did I mention she is imaginery and her name is Natalie Portman?

Mine does what I tell her. Its a cultrual thing.

I am in terms of the region where I'm applying (my family is also in the same reason, so it's not totally him). I would also prefer living near a big city because the job market for his field would be better for him. However, my bf did explicitly say it was *my* education and would back up whatever decision I make on where to go.

I'm a big family person. I couldn't imagine living far away from home. So I chose to attend a place near by even though it is much much more expensive than other places.

My bf is in Optometry school at IU, so he wasn't happy that I liked Temple better than IU. But I agreed to go to IU if I got in. However I didn't, so I get to go where I wanted to go and he can't be mad at me! He said he'd move out to Philly when he graduates.
