Just a few of the numerous reasons why DO>>>>>>MD.
1) The founder of osteopathy was true miracle worker. He knew how to "shake a child and stop scarlet fever, croup, diphtheria, and cure whooping cough in three days by a wring of its neck." How many MD's could claim to do that?
2) DO's believe in treating "the whole patient, not just the disease." This philosophy puts MD's to shame. Plus DO's, unlike MD's, learn osteopathic manipulative therapy.
3) DOs are eligible to go into both osteopathic AND allopathic residencies, whereas MDs can only go into the latter. So being a DO opens TWICE as many doors as being an MD.
4) New DO schools are opening at twice the rate of MD schools, and will soon outpace MD schools in influence and prestige:

Why, pray tell, would DO enrollment be overtaking MD enrollment so quickly? Duh, everyone with a clue is jumping off the MD bandwagon and recognizing that DO is the wave of the future, while MD is a festering turd of a degree in decline.
5) As if this wan't proof enough of the superiority of the DO, read the testimonies of DO students themselves:

This girl, with her good looks and ivy league pedigree, could've wooed her way into any MD school in the country. But, after investigating osteopathy, she became convinced, CONVINCED, that "there was no doubt in my mind that this was the type of doctor I wanted to be."
Those of you who aspire to be alloquacks, you're probably just jealous 'cause you have no shot at getting into a DO school. MD is a more realistic goal for you. Good for you, setting the bar low. Those of you who are (or will be) DO's, bask in your almighty superiority!
