I got this in an email and got a kick out of it. Thought that I would share it.

One Sunday, in counting the money in the weekly offering, the preacher of a small church
mail
found a pink envelope containing $1,000. It happened again the next week!
The following Sunday, he watched as the offering was collected and saw an elderly woman put the distinctive pink envelope o n the plate. This went on for weeks until the pastor, overcome by
curiosity, approached her.

mail

"Ma'am, I couldn't help but notice that you put $1,000 a week in the collection plate," he stated.

"Why yes," she replied, "every week my son sends me money and I give some of it to the church."

The preacher replied, "That's wonderful. But $1000 is a lot, are you sure you can afford this? How much does he send you?"

mail

The elderly woman answered, "$10,000 a week."

The preacher was amazed. "Your son is very successful; what does he do for a living?"

mail

"He is a veterinarian," she answered.

"That's an honorable profession, but I had no idea they made that much money," the preacher said. "Where does he practice?"

mail

The woman answered proudly, "In Nevada .. He has two cat houses, one in Las Vegas , and one in Reno '

Good one! Going to share that with the Feline staff at the shelter. Isn't there another joke about a Texas chicken house like that?

When I read it, the first thing that popped into my head was "but there are no legal brothels in vegas!"

Cat houses are legal brothels in Nevada. Hope that helps.

I'm really not sure which is worse, those of us that got it immediately, or those of us who didn't get it at all.

This got a smile out of me.. the entire thread, I mean.

One of my veterinary advisors posted this on her office door, so I thought I'd share it with you. 🙂 The following is based on a true story:

First-year students at Texas A&M's Vet School were receiving their first anatomy class, with a real dead cow. They all gathered around the surgery table with the body covered with a white sheet. The professor started the class by telling them, "In vet medicine, it is necessary to have two important qualities as a doctor: The first is that you not be disgusted by anything involving the animal body." For an example, the Professor pulled back the sheet, stuck his finger in the butt of the dead cow, withdrew it and stuck his finger in his mouth. "Go ahead and do the same thing, " he told his students. The students freaked out, hesitated for several minutes. But eventually took turns sticking a finger in the anal opening of the dead cow and sucking on it. When everyone finished, the Professor looked at them and told them, "The second most important quality is observation. I stuck in my middle finger and sucked on my index finger. Now learn to pay attention."

I think that's one of those jokes where you just insert school name <here>. Have seen it with several other vet schools cited.

Still good though.

ewwwww!!! haven't heard that one before...blegh!
