so rather than focusing on studying for the august mcat, i find myself checking my email incessantly and waiting until the mailman comes by everyday. i've heard back from 1 school (which was luckily a success, but my last choice) and waiting to hear something, anything (!) from 6 others.
just wondering if anyone else was in the same boat...or maybe all of the rest of you have heard back.

ive heard back from all for the most part. I was accepted to the SMPs at Georgetown, Drexel, university of cincinnati (i chose to go here), BUMAMS, Upenn, Loyola, and a bunch of other ones. You should be hearing back very shortly. Drexel is the only one who has a deadline of July 15th (i think?), and BUMAMS has a rolling deadling, so it depends when you submitted your apps. For the most part, if the due date for the postbac was sometime in May or June odds are, you'll be hearing back from the this week or the next. I've heard notorious stories where acceptances are sent out a week before the start date, but to the best of my knowledge, things should be coming soon enough.

thanks for the info. i actually submitted my app in march, but i didn't take the GREs until mid-june which is why it was delayed. i can't even imagine what it'd be like if i got accepted somewhere i've wanted to go a week before classes started!

which one did u get into, lala?

i got into duquesne univ in pittsburgh. i'm still waiting on gtown, drexel, vcu, bu, and ny medical college.

Just curious, as far as I know, the duquesne program is a premedical program where you take the pre-requisites, whereas the rest of the programs you listed are grad programs that assume the previous completion of the pre-requisites. You seem to be applying to programs aimed at different types of applicants.

duquesne has 2 tracks, and one is for enhancing your credentials (which has a linkage program with LECOM). i haven't finalized which classes i'm taking yet because i was planning on waiting until i knew i was going there for sure.
