I know its killing us all. I'm waiting for interview invites and I know some are waiting for acceptance. I was wondering what are some good "take your mind off it" mechanisms anyone has come up with? I've tried limiting checking my email to once a day(failed), any good ideas before I loose my hair from stress?

you tried checking email once a day?? admirable. I've checked it 5 times in the last 20 min.

Work on your "Plan B", that is what you will do if you do not get into medical school this year. The more elaborate and complete your Plan B, the less likely you will have to use it.

When I see that... I cross my fingers before clicking, only to find out that there's a special for Viagra.

Lame.

I'm hoping that the section of my left eyebrow that I pulled out in anxiety grows back for the 1 interview I have so far. As such, I do not recommend pulling out eyebrows during the wait. I wish I was a nailbiter or something.

Well, the section is growing back, but the hairs are still short enough to stand straight up. 🙁 I'm thinking (read: hoping) they'll be laying down in a week and a half.

Depending on if you're in school or not:

A: Get a job
B: Do school work
C: Volunteer with organization X
D: Spend time with your friends

To Crb717, I sincerely hope you have something better to do than to be checking your e-mail every 4 min. And yes, I realize you were probably being sarcastic, but I have a feeling there are some SDNers that, in fact, do check their e-mail every 4 min.

There are just so many things to be doing out in the world, get busy!

There's eyebrow gel for that. 😉

I don't have to check my email, my email checks itself continuously with google talk's mail notifier program. 😛
