The Walking Dead
Started by BLADEMDA
Season 3 just started. Seasons 1 and 2 are available via NetFlix or Rental DVDs.
I saw my first episode last week. Season 1 is as good as any "B" Horror flick you have ever seen.
I'm now a fan of the show.
The "science" behind the Zombies/Walking Dead is weak at best, if not down right ridiculous; but, it is a 'B' horror series isn't it?

It's not a show you watch for high-minded intellectualism, but as pure entertainment, it's an hour well-spent. S3 premiere was promising (though a few plot devices were more than a little annoying), hopefully tonight's episode keeps it up.
Season 2 was horrible. Season 3 seems better.
We are actually @ Universal Orlando for holloween Horror Nights. Walking dead haunted house was OK. The rest were pretty good. Went theough all the haunted gouses... and most twice. Closed it @ 0200am. Hella fun.
Staying in tonight just to watch the first 2 episodes of the season. 🙂

I wouldn't say it was horrible; it was just annoying that they spent the first half of the season spinning their wheels on the farm without any real kind of plot movement. The second half really picked up.
Braaaaaaaaaaaains!!!

The understatement of the day. "Science". It's the one gimmick I just won't/can't watch.
I can do other worlds, planets, universes, CIA flicks with 80,000 rounds being shot yet not one hitting Tom Cruise, but zombies I cannot suspend myself to enjoy. The one exception to the rule was Zombieland, because if you go THAT campy, sure, why not. It was more about character than Zombie stupidity anyway...
Sunday nights are GREAT on TV lately: Hell on Wheels, Copper (two great period pieces, HOW is over for the season, Copper ends first season tonight, just got the season two pickup) and then one of the best dramas EVER, Homeland.
