So how long until states start suing pharmacies for this?

It's honestly mindblowing to me that pharmacies continue to dispense C2s at all.
A good number of them are getting way more strict about it.

Had a patient last week leaving on an out-of-state trip 29 days after getting her last Vyvanse fill. CVS wouldn't fill it.

If I was a pharmacist, I definitely wouldn't fill for any of these online only places after what happened to Cerebral.

I know independents that don't dispense any controls at all - not sure why any of them still do..

I also keep hearing about pharmacies being broken into in very good areas

Tbh it's not worth the trouble.

Chronic pain people take up a crazy disproportionate amount of time

Indeed, they should just suffer, or die.
They need treatment for the underlying problem. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ to

Why does the US use such a disproportionate amount of prescription opioids?

Virtually all chronic pain or lower back pain patients receiving opioids do not actually need them.

Yep. My only usual exception is people over 80, usually more like 85+. If you're 92 I don't want an orthopedic surgeon replacing your hip, I'd rather just give you 2-3 norco a day to avoid that.
