How do you plan on answering it?

Also for the "what are the strengths and weaknesses of the school".....how to approach the weaknesses aspect....

I haven't had the strengths and weaknesses question yet, but as for the why this school, I did a lot of research on each school, read all the posts on this website, studied the schools website, etc. It's easy to find a lot of positive points when you look into each school like this, then you'll start to understand why you really would consider each school. Things like curriculum, service based dentistry, research oriented, student/instructor interaction, graduation rates, success at post graduate programs etc are all things to consider and many more.

what do you look for in the curriculum? Also where do you find stats such as graduation rates or NBDEs scores? some of the websites don't mention very much....

re curriculum some schools have block exams, system based learning, pass/fail, PBL, triple jump exam, straightforward old lecture type with exams at the the of semester. You could get some info from ADEA book or from school websites, SDN dental forum has some info posted by present students on DS.
Usually if you read carefully DS mission statement and such you could figure out what this particular school put most emphasis on.
