The rating scale seems to be about as rigorous and reliable as the US News and World Report pharmacy school ratings. Nevertheless, to be rated lower than Dollar General and Radio Shack can't be good for ESI employee morale.

They felt pressured to reach key metrics and often complained that reaching these numbers was more important to the business than adequate customer service, or employee well-being. As a result, many employees felt overworked, and a too-heavy workload was the most common complaint. One aggrieved employee wrote that the company gives "the appearance of a work/life balance … but the truth is everyone is overworked."

This sounds awfully similar to retail pharmacies to me.
Well, I bet Express Script members get lunch breaks at least.
 
I worked for Express Scripts. I enjoyed my time there- lots of employee incentives, breaks, easy work, Visa gift cards at Christmas, food for birthdays and meeting goals, and nice people.

The pay was much more than in retail.

Then again, this was 2006...
