The application process is tremendous fun and ranks right up there with 8 days in Tahiti.

On Western's letter of rec form that they provide in lieu of an official letterhead has one part that is mystifying me. There's a waiver at the top that, apparently, I'm supposed to sign. I understand that much, but there's also a space for a "witness". What's up with this?

It's an opportunity for your wife to sign for you, or in desperate situations, practice time for left-handed writing if you're a righty, or vice versa for you southpaws.

I hope they can't make out the 'Bart Simpson' in the signature.
