Hi guys. I'm thinking of doing a 2 month medical mission in India but I don't want to miss my chances to interview! I have a gap year and I'm not sure when to schedule this trip in...

Is there any way to predict when I will get an interview, in the case that I am offered one? I am planning to submit my application at the start of July. I assume it depends on a lot of factors and is unpredictable, but I'm sure some members here would know something...

Thanks!

I'd suggest Nov 20-Jan 20. That includes 3 weeks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) that tend to be very slow in interview land. You could add to your secondaries the comment that you'll be away during that time so that schools could schedule you after that period if needed or may feel motivated to push you ahead to inteview before you leave.

Thanks for the advice!

I'm gonna bump this up in case anyone else has something to add. Thanks guys!
