I like this idea. I hope it makes it to the university setting someday. I remember I always felt like I wasted so much time because there would be 4-6 students per tutor in the free tutoring center. I felt like I spent all of my time waiting.

I work at a middle school. I like this idea for kids because I think it takes the embarrassment factor out of it too if kids are interacting with a computer for help rather than an adult.

There's a lot of fear/uncertainty/doubt about generative AI right now - it reminds me of when the AAMC was trying to keep medical school application information off the internet (aka the reason SDN was founded). Ultimately, it's a tool - we just have to figure out how to use it, shape it ethically, meet the power demands, etc.
