Hi everyone,
This is the Pulse team here! We built Pulse because we kept hearing the same thing over and over again from premeds and med students across the country:
“I wish I had better mentorship.”
“I don’t know where to go for support.”
“I feel like I’m figuring this out alone.”
Whether it was finding someone to help navigate applications, choosing a specialty, or just understanding what comes next, the answers often felt scattered, inconsistent, or totally out of reach.
Pulse is our attempt to change that. We’re building a platform that makes mentorship more accessible — not just for people who already have a network, but for the ones who don’t even know where to start. And beyond mentorship, we’re creating a space where students and physicians can share their experiences, organize opportunities, and build real community across every stage of this path.
But we know we don’t have all the answers. That’s why we’re launching the Pulse Pioneers Program — a group of early users who will help us shape what Pulse becomes. This is more than just early access. It’s a chance to play a real role in building something for this community, from the ground up.
