hey guys, so i just submitted my pharmcas application, but i can not stop stressing out about my stats. Wayne State is the only school i wanna go to and i only applied to 2 other school. i think my stats are ok (GPA: 3.75, pcat: 71)
anyone here know someone that got accepted with a score less than what the school actually requires?

I think minimum requirements are not meant to be guidelines but are mandatory conditions you must meet before they even look at your application.

Why not just take the PCAT again? Or was the October one the last PCAT accepted?

Hoping to get in when you didn't meet the cutoff seems kind of risky... I would call them and see if it truly is a hard-cutoff, in which case they may toss your application to the side no matter how well you did on the rest of the sections. See what they say. You have back-up schools right? It's still early enough in the cycle to apply to other schools. Good luck.

i did email a pharmacy school advisor and he said that my application will be considered and that i still a shot...but i am afraid he was just telling me that to make me feel better or something

those stats r very good for wayne state and the fact that you were able to do well on the pcat with only being here for 3 years means you are a fast learner. so i don't think it will affect your application that much
