This might sound bad but... do I NEED to send secondaries to the schools I sent my primaries to?

I changed my mind on some schools and the size of their required essays for their secondaries doesn't seem worth it when my chances are so low. Can other schools see that I didn't submit secondaries to the other schools I sent primaries to? I know especially in Texas it can count against us if don't apply to all Texas schools, which is why I sent my primary to all of them, but is it bad if I don't send all my secondaries?

No, I don't think you need to, at least I hope you don't need to. I don't plan on doing a secondary for one of the schools I applied to. I don't believe the schools can tell, or would even care if they could.

The schools can't really see each others' applications, so you don't have to worry for that reason. But I think you should apply to all the TX schools anyway, because you never know which one will be interested in you, especially with your extra clinical job experience. We have a 75-80% return on secondaries and we can't see where the applicant has applied (AMCAS or secondaries).
