Overall GPA and Sience GPA are more important than specific letter grades of each course?

I mean (suppose) one got sience GPA=3.7, but one's gen bio grade is C+....
will dental school care one's specific letter grade of each course or just superficial number GPA (what courses one took - only name of courses not a letter grade)...?

That's exactly my case, I got a C+ in Bio I but I took many other Bio courses after that to improve my GPA and my science GPA is 3.7. Science and overall GPA are both important, but some schools care about science GPA more. One C in Bio doesn't hurt if you do well in other science courses and the DAT.
Hope this helped, good luck.

Be aware that one school I spoke with broke down my gpa by subject, and rejected me because my bio gpa was a 3.4 even though chem was 3.7 etc etc...... I dont know how many schools do this but no other school I interviewed with did, and I did receive several acceptances

They focus on the science GPA, overall GPA, DAT AA, DAT TS, and PAT. Everything in between's extra until you go to the extreme end and fluff your GPA with way too many cake classes (everyone has at least some).
