This year's mean/SD

On the score report it says that the average in the PAST is roughly 218 with a 23 standard deviation. Has anyone's school reported the actual mean/SD for this year's exam?

My report says the 218 mean and 23 standard deviation are for RECENT test administrations. I took this to mean that is what they are for this year's exam.

Who would have guessed the NBME is ambiguous yet again? I don't know if recent means the last 1-3 years or if it means this year's examinees alone. Oh well, it shouldn't change that much year to year, right?
