Those passages that sometimes popup and destroy you?

So I was just doing passages from a PS section, then I got to one physics passage about windmills...it was 2 full columns long filling up the whole page.

Took me literally 15 minutes to get through all 7 questions or so. Still got 2 of them wrong, and the 5 I did get right...I was not sure about


What gameplan do you guys have when you run into one of those "WTF" passages?

I feel like with those difficult passages, there will be questions that you can answer with background knowledge. I'd do those first. Then I try to look at charts& graphs and make relationship between the variables. (If a good up, then b goes down etc)
That strategy has been helpful in the difficult pages I've encountered.
