Those that got in ICO or SUNY

Does ICO/SUNY give out interviews before the LORs are in? (I would call in the school and ask directly but my phone plan doesn't get fixed until monday. Am hoping someone who knows this will answer me! Please 🙂

Also, I'm pretty new with optomCAS. If I send out 3 LORs requests and receive letters from all 3, can I pick and choose which ones I use for ICO, who needs only 2?

heyy!!
I had an interview at ICO in september and Im almost positive they will give interviews without everything complete and actually if you send admissions an email they will send you an automated response that mentions this before they send their actual response. As for the LORs I dont think there is a way to choose which get sent to which schools because once you submit your app online theres no way of modifying it after.

This really confuses me... because ICO requires 2 LORs - one from optometrist and one academic professor. Right now I have 3 LOR requests (1 optometrist, 2 professors) but I actually prefer one professor's LOR over another for ICO. But ICO will receive all 3? Which one of the two professors would they look at? 😕😕

(I got the other professor because SUNY needs 2 academic professors.)

When I submitted my OptomCAS I had 4 LORs two from profs and two from optometrists. ANd during my interview, at the beginning when they are going through your file with you...it appeared as if they had all 4 letters. I assuming thats because the two that they require are just a minimum but you can provide more. Im not sure if this is 100% but thats the only logical explanation I can think of. And if your really worried about that one letter than email them and see if you can do anything about it.
