This presentation was shared on Linked-In's AMSA group, by Marriane Cloren. Ms. Cloren currently serves as: Medical Director at Managed Care Advisors, Inc; Chair, Council on OEM Practice at American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine; Member, Board of Directors at American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

I found it to be a very interesting presentation. The comparison of visible and invisible health expenditures, between 1999 and 2009, was presented in a very compelling manner, and I think many Americans would be surprised to see that. As a whole, its a great presentation for aspiring doctors to watch!

This is excellent! A breakdown of what's wrong with the entire system. Until we see the big picture and address the problems on all sides- insurance, doctors, and patients, no resolution will work.
