Step I Thoughts on bootcamp for step 1 prep?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
The thing is, the reason you had all these resources pop up (pathoma, BnB, sketchy) for step 1 was that it used to be an arms race to get the highest score. Now that it’s P/F it’s hard to tell what works and compare methods. You also have idiots who barely passed the exam telling people not to do pathoma and sketchy.

So I can’t really answer your question. I liked Bootcamp. The reason I used BnB instead is that there weren’t really dedicated AnKing cards for Bootcamp last time I checked, but that was a couple years ago. They may have changed that now.

For a P/F exam, and getting a good foundation, I don’t think it matters. Just make sure you do AnKing with whatever videos you watch and you’ll be fine

Bootcamp has plenty of cards tagged for the latest in the latest anking deck. The quiz sections after each section are a bit easier to digest than BnB, pair it with sketchy and you’re a machine

if I take step 1 in 3 months, do you think I have time to do 9 week bootcamp study plan + uworld?

I also want to do one pass of sketchy pharm, sketchy micro, and chapters 1-3 for pathoma

Hi all, I came across this thread and wanted to share a resource that helped me during my Step 1 and Step 2 prep. I put together a free folder of high-yield notes and practice materials that covers a lot of the core topics—if anyone wants to check it out, here's the link: High Yield USMLE - Google Drive. Hope it helps and good luck with your studying!
