Hey all, so a bit new to the forums but was curious what people thought about something. My step 2 CK was lower than my step 1 and I'm wondering whether I should hold off on transmitting this to programs?

Step 1: low 240s, step 2 mid 230s.

Also, I can't seem to find whether or not some programs I interviewed at even require that I submit my scores. E.g. there are no specific guidelines on the website for my #1 choice

My top choice program is also pretty competitive so I'm a bit worried.

No, transmit. What's done is done, 230s is not a bad score.

If you don't transmit, you are hiding something like a barely passed score, in anyone's eye who looks at your application.

Transmit and hope for the best!

I seem to remember someone telling me you had to have them in before rank list deadline or something? You might check that with your dean. At this point you're halfway through the interview season, so I'd probably hold off until the deadline. Best case: no one cares. Worst case: it could hurt your overall application. Might as well hold off until most ranking decisions have been made.
