What are your thoughts on MSSM. I have a 3.7 and got a 27R on MCAT, but am retaking it in August. I know I can do better and am taking a Kaplan course. I already have 13 schools and am not sure if it is worth it to add one more or just roll with the 13 because it is so damn expensive ($30+secondary(70-100)

i'm not sure as it stands with a 3.7 and 27 that applying to 13 schools is enough.. i suggest that you make sure you get at least 30 on the mcats to be really competitive in the majority of the schools you apply to.. as for mssm.. from what i know about the school and from people who have gone there its supposed to be great and in my personally opinion.. all the new york city schools are great and the experiences in doing your rounds there are unrivaled

Um, only applying to 13 schools with a 3.7/27 as a non-URM? Even if you think you can do better in August, what if you don't? It's going to be exceedingly tough for you to get in this year, especially if you're trying to go to an NYC school.

I'd send my primary AMCAS to 20+ schools if I were you...

Heck, I know people with 36+ MCAT scores who applied to 20 schools. Now's not the time to be miserly with your money.
