hey everyone,
this is random but i'm starting d school in the fall and i really want a small nose stud. will this be a problem professionally later on? i can always take it out and i don't have any other piercings or tattoos except for one in each ear.

I know people who went to job interviews (research, teaching, etc) with small nose studs and got the jobs. And I know someone else who will be piercing her nose before starting dental school this fall. I think small nose studs are ok, just not the ridiculous face piercings/tattoos.

But if it ever bothers you, you can always take it out and let the piercing heal.

It's understandable.
I know someone who took her nose stud out before her interviews because she was paranoid. But she's going to wear it in dental school.
