Thoughts on Possible Reapplication

Hello everyone, I've posted a few placed previously about my frustrating cycle thus far, but have some time now post-Thanksgiving and decided to go ahead & solicit some opinions on what to do should I need to apply again next cycle. I do remain optimistic of success this time around, but no one ever suffered from preparing ahead, right? Disclaimer: a few very minor details are slightly altered in case one of the adcoms on here sees my app. Nothing that actually matters for WAMC.

I'm quietly confident that I'll be able to get in still, but figured it might be worth the time to just post this now and update throughout the cycle. A possible issue that I see is that I've taken the MCAT twice, without considerable improvement (within first score's range). Also, it really just occurs to me that my academic metrics (GPA/MCAT) are "fine," but simply aren't that special/worthy of particular adcome notice amongst Asian applicants. What else stands out for you guys?
Your non-clinical service appears to be all on-campus. I suggest service to others less fortunate than yourself, and get off campus and out of your comfort zone.
I'm getting a vibe that you're research heavy despite the very nice hours of clinical exposure.

Hence, I suspect that your essays are hurting you.. perhaps too much of a research vibe? Or you applied late?

Any IAs?

You've had only one II, and so you may have a bad LOR.

Appreciate the input. Yeah, in retrospect it does seem a larger proportion of my secondary essays were about research. If I need to look at another cycle I'll definitely take a careful analysis of those. And I'm also getting involved in some community-based service this year (free literacy and social education classes for underprivileged urban families), so that should diversify my nonmedical volunteering experiences a bit.

No IAs or legal issues of any sort.

LORs are obviously the great unknown. I felt quite confident about my recommenders this cycle though, so would you suggest I choose 4 completely different writers for a potential second cycle? The nice thing about my moving around quite a bit after graduation & pursuing several degrees is that I've many academic mentors with good relations in recent years, so it wouldn't be too difficult to ask alternative writers.
