If anyone saw my post from yesterday you'll see I do plan on retaking my DAT. However, from looking on the forums it seems some people think retaking the DAT looks bad?

What do you think? I looked at some schools websites and they said many dental students took theirs twice.

I'm just freaking out because I'm afraid if I take it again it'll look bad to adcoms..

Retaking is not bad, especially when improvement is needed. Let's be real here, you did not prepare properly, I mean, you haven't even completed orgo and didn't really study gen chem, just chads. With these tests go full power. Take it again, there is no shame on it, JUST study better... And for the people who say that retaking is bad, well, that's not true; if anything it will just show resilience and a strong desire for the profession.
