Thoughts on SMP’s and AMP’s?

I was accepted into NYMC accelerated master’s program and currently awaiting a Georgetown SMP decision. Which is better or are they about the same?

I have a 510 MCAT, 3.17 undergrad GPA (engineering/pre-med), plenty of clinical. I live close enough to NYMC to commute which is a pro so I could save a lot of money. However, I hear Georgetown more well-known. Any advice? Thanks guys

They (SMPs) are all the same.

DIY postbac will be cheaper, but SMPs give you counseling/advising, and usually have some sort of linkage.

defintely smp.... prepares you for med school, gives you research opportunities and guaranteed interview agreements

SMP is like playing Russian roulette when it comes to medical school admissions. Very high risk for very high reward. If you don't do well, you can kiss your chances of a US medical school acceptance goodbye.
