Anyone care to chime in on this program? I interviewed there and want to rank it high. The last review of this program came in 2006. Any current housestaff, interviewees (current/former) want to comment?

Strengths-
Facilities, teaching/didactics, 4+2, Drip admissions (every other day), small team (1 res, 1 intern, MS3/4.), close enough to NYC, supportive PD

Weakness-
Small team = more work (especially on ICU months--> mentioned by multiple resident and attending (former resident), elective weeks in 2 week blocks (still have to come in at 7am for board review). ambulatory (Princeton a bit far, and traffic sucks), no subsidized housing, pretty expensive for small town.

Lingering question:
In the 4+2, during those 2 weeks you can do you electives. But ambulatory clinics are built in during those 2 weeks. So you aren't really doing a full day of electives. You will still get pulled from your electives to do clinic. Did I hear incorrectly? Is this how it really is??

Are residents overworked? I got the impression that the were, especially during ICU months.
