Hi SDN I want to make sure all the rxns that can appear on the DAT i've seen before.

can you guys put up a few that you think are particular difficult
for me :
Michael
anyone heard of the dreaded Michael ?
Gillman
Haloform
Wittig
and the Esters both Mal and Ace.

also should I know
Gabriel ?

Any tips how to understand and memorize these better?
Flash cards or writing them out every few days ?

These were the reactions I also prepared for:

- birch reduction
- simmons smith
- halocycloproponation
- nitrile hydrolysis
- nitrosation
- kolbe schmidt
- quinone oxidation

It turned out to be a waste of time, but then a again I didn't spend too much time on memorizing random reactions.

the Heck reaction. I remember seeing that in Dat destroyer orgo 2 days ago, but I never remembered Chad covering it so it probably won't be on the exam

Dieckmann. I vaguely remember that from taking Orgo, but I saw it in Destroyer and was like ...seriously not even going to waste my time
