So, somehow I misplaced/lost everything from taking the mcat (emails, id, admission ticket). I tried to retrieve my username from the website, but it didn't work because it couldn't match up my info to the older account. I emailed them and asked them what to do, they told me to go through the website (even though I told them it didn't work for me). I made a new account through amcas, but I'm not sure if it'll allow me to retrieve my scores because I have no idea if it's connected to my old account in any way. Anyone know what to do?

i'm dealing with the exact situtation, i don't have a amcas login since i am applying to canadian schools. I sent off an email , will call tomorrow,...its pretty time sensitive for me as i have to use thx to send score as soon as I get them.

I was in the same situation, or atleast I thought. Turns out that if you don't have an AMCAS ID (not the same as the ID you used for registration) then you need to create a new account with a new username and password.

so do your scores automatically show up there based on your sin/ssn? how do they know its the same person that registered to write the mcat since the registration form doesn't ask for the registration id for the mcat? ugh i am stressin

I called AMCAS, but the computer got me frustrated and I couldn't get on with a real person. Hopefully we'll figure it out by next week...

I signed up for THx before I started AMCAS - everything seems linked pretty well between the two. If you can make a new account in THx, you should be okay.

Apparently you cant use the same ID and password as you used when you signed up for the mcat. You have to make up new ones and that's when they give you an AAMC ID.

I was wondering myself if I've done the right thing because when I log in to THx it says something along the lines of:

"The April 2006 scores have been loaded. If you took the exam and do not see your scores below, please contact us using the "Report a problem" link below."

I never took the april 2006, only the august so I'm wondering if I'm okay. Anyone else have this on their screen when they log in?

Also the only things that are listed on the page are my name and AAMC ID. . my DOB and SSN isn't on there. I thought it would be. . .😕

Here's the deal........It will say the April 2006 scores are uploaded or whatever administration was right before yours on everyone's ThX regardless of whether you took it years ago or you took it this August or in April. It just shows up automatically. There is no problem with Thx. It just says that.

Now onto logging in....

If you don't have a registration, just go where it says register for userid and that will work.

They will have your social security number at the top of your report above the strip giving you your report. They will alo have your date of birth. so I'm sure that's how they know it is you for sure.

Now stop trying to make things more complicated then they really have to be.
