So, according to EK, thyroid hormones are lipid soluble and work like steroid hormones in a way that they diffuse into nucleus.
However, I found out that calcitonin is made of peptides.
EK doesnt say anything about this, so I am wondering if what Im thinking is true.
Can anyone confirm that calcitonin is a peptide hormone even though its a thyroid hormone? Thx!
