Hi,
Just wanted to do how late I can submit a DO LOR ? All the hospitals and docs have a "no shadowing allowed" policy right now but they said that might change as a vaccine develops! thanks so much 🙂 I have an MD LOR but I really want a DO one to increase my chances ! thanks so much!

You can add it at any time but just know that adding a letter may not make adcoms go back in and review your file if they have already done so. If the DO letter is not mandatory and you have been complete you may have already been reviewed. They do not have time to keep re-reviewing files.

You should check with each DO school as there is no set policy for all the COMs. Some have even dropped the letter requirement.

Tbh, I think the vaccine rollout wouldn't be substantial enough to change this until the cycle is over.
