Time extensions at Virginia schools

Anybody out there have experience with requesting a deadline extension for EVMS and/or VCU? I got a late start on the LOR/premed committee process and there is no way I'm going to meet their deadlines ... obviously, I'm going to contact the schools in question and ask for extensions ... I guess misery just loves company? 🙂

I asked for and received an extension - my letter writers couldn't get the letters in by the first deadline. I believe I was given a two week extension. It can't hurt to ask. Good luck.

Thanks! I called EVMS today and was told that the 30-day thing was "only a guideline," so I'm not going to worry about that one. ::sigh of relief:: I still need to get in touch with VCU, though.

I recently got an email from VCU teling me that they are withdrawing my app due to inactivity. I never even received a secondary from them, so I emailed them asking for extension. Still waiting for a reply.
