Hello my fellow premeds and med students, I was looking through the CIB and I noticed most schools have a certain period after your acceptance that you must give them an answer. From the CIB I saw it ranged from 2 weeks to 3 months. Does this mean that "us" late applicants will have a better chance of getting interviews once the people who got accepted decline their acceptance? Any input would be appreciated 😀

By the time that happens, I think they will mostly [not only] be looking to move people off of the waitlists than to schedule more interviews.
I would say that you are somewhat correct but I wouldn't bank on it.

That's right, I completely forgot about the waitlists... so after their class is full, they put you on the waitlist no matter how much they like you?

well, they can't kick anyone out of the class... you'd have to wait for someone to withdraw from their seat and then hope you get that spot.
