time mgmt help - org 1001?

I seem to read here that org is carrying less weight on the test. I estimate it will take about 20-25 hours to go through the 1001 book. I basically have the basics and EK flashcard reactions memorized (and superficially understood), and am wondering how much time on 1001 is worthwhile, or maybe some other book will be better for practicing before I get to full-lengths?

I think 20 hours is a good estimate based on how long orgo 1001 has been taking me. If you've got the orgo flashcards down the problems should be pretty easy. I haven't gone through the flashcards too much but after going through about 1/3 of the 1001 book I've got a pretty good grasp on the problems. The book has been a nice confidence builder but if time was an issue then I wouldn't worry about finishing it.
