i have an interview at the mount sinai school of medicine Elmhurst program....i was then looking at Frieda and it seems that there are three other mount sinai programs in nyc.

-Mount Sinai School of Medicine (Bronx) Program
-Mount Sinai School of Medicine (Elmhurst) Program
-Mount Sinai School of Medicine (Queens Hospital Center) Program
-Mount Sinai School of Medicine Program, new york, ny

-Which one is the top ranked one in terms of most reputation that everyone seems to agree?
-Are there major differences between these programs?
-according to frieda, the elmhurst program is a community oriented hospital affiliated program...shouldn't it be a university based program given their mount sinai med school?

last but not the least, how does the mount sinai elmhurst program compare to Robert Wood Johnson UMDNJ?

Thank you so much guyssssss!!! :luck::luck::luck::luck::luck:

What exactly are you interviewing for? from your post it sounds like medical school, in which case this really isn't in the right place. Whatever your case may be though, the main hospital/internal med program as well as the school of medicine is located right by central park in manhattan - not any of these other places, which I can't say I know much about

Mt Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY is the main academic hospital on the medical school campus near central park. The residents of the NY, NY program rotate through elmhurst though.

MSSM, NY, NY is one of the top 5 NY IM programs. All others are community programs "affiliated" with MSSM. Which means that if you are a MSSM medical student or Main campus resident, depending on how bad your luck is, you may have to do some rotations at these hospitals (also you get some community training).

The "affiliation" is in name only with some minor privileges such as possibly some "priority" for electives at MSSM main campus.

In fact, they also have affiliations in NJ and on average, IMO, all MSSM affiliated hospitals seem to be subpar when compared to some other community/affiliated hospitals.

Finally, MSSM, NY, NY >> RWJ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> any Mt. Sinai affiliate!

I hope this helps and Good Luck!
