Time to Collect teeth?

hello!
have anyone started collecting teeth for school yet? Where would be the best places to find teeth? Oral surgeons? I called a couple of oral surgeons to save teeth for me but one of the surgeons told me he's already collecting for 3 other pre-dentals and the other surgeon is already collecting for 2.

I guess I'm late. But they each said that they will collect for me next and to call back in the May.

so there will actually be real teeth that you can work with for operative and endo. Working with ivorine teeth will only take you so far.

I've been collecting my own teeth... 3 incisors, 1 first molar, and 2 third molars. Some of them are broken a long time ago.

yea, hit up the oral surgeon. that's what i'm doing. i gave him a sizable jar and i wouldn't be surprised if i got way more than i need for school.

Yeah, oral surgeon really is the only dentists worth bothering about it. My grandfather for instance was just a normal dentist and would help dental students with theirs and kept every single one even when he wasnt collecting for someone...."just in case". Even then, he still never got many and they were generally all teeth not really worth saving except as an example for people to use their toothbrush.

I called 3 more oral surgeons today... no luck!! they all have a pre-dental on their staff and are collecting teeth for them...

I feel hopeless..!!
just a question... what happen if I try really hard but can't get as much teeth as I needed? can i buy? 🙂

You guys are all pathetic! What are you gonna do with a bunch of teeth before you get to DS. Do you want to play with them? Twirl them around in your mouth like candy? Any way... If you really want to get a bunch of teeth, just do like I do. I walk around everyday just waiting for someone to pissmeoff and then I kick their asses and pick their teeth off the ground. After I kick them a few times while they are down, I belligerently thank them and tell them not to worry because I will be able fix their smile after I get out of dental school. It’s actually a good way to network and line up clientele for later on...Hope it works for you. I just started this a few months ago and now I have six jars full. Mostly inscisors and premolars, but occasionally I get some partials and even some full dentures. Don't bother with lil kids or real old people because most of the time they dont have teeth (or they may not be wearing dentures). Im hoping to score big some day and find out were the tooth ferry hides... then I'll beat her up and I'll sell to desparate predents.
