Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on the site and have learned a lot of useful information as far applying to dental school, but I have a weird situation on my hands.
I go to a school on the quarter system and I missed a quarter my sophomore year due to having labrum and rotator cuff surgery from baseball. The way my school offers organic chem is that you have to take the classes 3 quarters in a row. This made it to where I had to wait to take my o-chems this year, pushing me back on taking the DAT until summer.
I will be graduating in the fall and am wondering if I should take the DAT as soon as I am finished with my organics and apply to schools in the summer or if I should wait and apply until I have graduated in the fall and take a gap year. Regardless, I feel as though I will have a gap year no matter what. Any tips or useful advice would be greatly appreciated!!
