Timeline help!!

So I am applying this summer (the 2018-2019 cycle) which opens on June 28th. Do I have to wait until June 28th to start my application, or can I get started on it ahead of time and submit once it opens?

Applications were open on May 2.
Submissions were open May 31.

With all due respect, I called OptomCAS and was told the new cycle can begin on June 28.

For OptomCAS, you can start now, just don't put your LOR or your transcripts up. The other information will roll over for the next cycle as long as you don't submit your application (but double check the personal statement part lol)
