Hey guys,

I have a few timeline questions - answers to any or all would be fantastic! 🙂

1. Once the first batch gets sent to schools in early July, are subsequent batches sent out weekly?

2. How many weeks total does it take for DAT scores to get sent to schools? Is it 2-3 weeks (Prometric to AADSAS) + 4-6 weeks (AADSAS to schools), or shorter/longer?

3. I realize you can e-submit before taking the DAT. Will the scores get added automatically to my application while it's being processed by AADSAS?

Thanks in advance!

1. Yup! That's how I understand it.

2. I'm not positive, but I think I can help. It took 15 days after my DAT was taken for it to be received by AADSAS. Provided everything else was in, my application would have been sent out with the batch on that Friday or the next. I'm guessing there's about an average of 3 weeks for the scores to actually arrive at your schools from AADSAS. It may be even faster if you "checked" the schools when you signed up for them, but I'm not sure.

3. Yup again. So long as your DENTPIN and birthday are correct, they'll be added and sent to schools.

1. Usually, yes

2. About 2 weeks to aadsas, then to schools whenever next batch is sent out even if app has already been sent out. Some schools will temporarily accept unofficial print out of your scores.

3. Yes

Great point. After your test, you should send your scores right away to the schools you've applied to (just scan 'em in and e-mail them to the main admissions contact at the schools). Not every school will accept these, but from what I've read, it seems like a lot of them do! It can't hurt, regardless.
