All my applications are considered complete by the adcoms within the last week or so (13 or so in). I was wondering how long it will take before I may start hearing about interviews? Or is it already too late in the cycle/are my chances substantially reduced?

P.S. My primary AACOMAS app was processed in the begining of october and I have yet to hear ANYTHING from western. Whats up with that?

Thanks.

After my completed secondary application, it took the school as few as three days to over a month to offer me an interview. As a matter of fact, I am still waiting on interviews! 🙂

It is not too late in the cycle, but as I hope you have seen, individuals have already been accepted into the incoming class. The first deposit is due by Dec 15th for the first round of acceptances, so many people are going to commit, resulting in fewer seats in the incoming class.

The hardest part for me is the waiting. Hang in there and best of luck.

That totally freaks me out:scared: ...but also there will be people that will drop out when they hear from another school...so there is still hope... i hope 🙂

Of course. My intention was not to freak you out, but to make you aware that people are being accepted. For the most part, schools send our many more acceptances than they have available seats. This is to ensure that their incoming class is filled. Applying now is not "late," but it's not early either. You're in the mix of things. Best of luck. If you're interested, there are many threads out there that give you the %'s for people interviewed, acceptances, etc...

Please research before asking. There's a plethora of information already out there. 🙂

Don't worry I have been accepted to three DO schools and will not be sending money to commit to at least two of them. I have also just declined three interviews from PCOM, PCOM-GA, and CCOM.

hehe thanks. I'm just basing what I said from what I observed last year with my friends and even on the boards. It does get rougher but as one student gives up a seat it causes a chain effect...hoping I get the right seat at right place 🙂
