Hopefully I'm not being dense, but the only similar question I could find was from 2002 and since LORs have (for the schools I'm applying to, anyway) all switched over to AMCAS, I just want to be sure.
It's looking like I'll have my primary application in pretty early. Not June 2nd, but early. Is it ok for me to submit my secondaries and not yet have my LOR uploaded to AMCAS? If a school gives me a month from the time they send me the link to the secondary, do I have to have my secondary essays, fee, AND my letters in within that timeframe? Or do they just require that I have what's actually under my control in by the due date?
I'm not sure if my pre-med committee even meets in the summer--I think so, but I don't know for sure--so will it hurt me to not have the LOR by the due date? I'm thinking they'll just hold my app and begin considering it once they receive that letter. 😕
