Hey all. Long time lurker here, love SDN. Anyway, I just graduated this past May 2010 and will be applying next summer in 2011. I'm registered for two upper div science night classes that I really want to take (Immunology and Histology). I'll also retake two prereqs in the Spring semester to bring their grades up.
I have two questions:
1) I just realized that some osteopathic medical schools require 6 credits of behavioral sciences, however I only have 3. I feel like an idiot for not realizing that sooner. I want to apply the schools as early as possible, but will I be able to if I don't have this prereq completed? Would I have to take it in Summer and only apply after it's completed? Or can I take it in Fall 2011 and still apply super early in the summer?
2) After I apply to schools in early summer (the plan), if I take Summer courses and courses in the Fall, can I notify schools of grade changes and raises in GPA?
