Hello all,

This questions is for all those lucky ones who already took both CK and CS or are planning to do so soon. My plan is to do CS and CK both in two days, after cummulative three weeks of studying. Is this doable or an utterly, incredibly stupid idea? 😀

Appreciate your input greatly. Thanks.

I would sincerely consider putting a one day break in between them. It's totally possible, perhaps even recommended, to do them close together. But you may be really fatigued after doing one of them and need a day to recover so you'll be in tip-top shape for the next exam.

I tend to agree you should space them out by a day or two. Which one are you taking first? If you're doing CK first, then I REALLY think you need to space those out. CK is 9 hours sitting in front of a computer screen reading 3 paragraph long questions, and it is painfully exhausting. I would suggest breaking that up.

i agree w/ the above posters. i took almost 5 mos between ck and cs and wish i would have gotten cs over with sooner. as above, don't take them back to back...i can barely remember ck, but it was definitely a tough day. cs was also very long after having see 12 patients and hand write every note since the f-ing computers were down. take a few days off, at the least, between the two.

I took both exams, and I definitely would advise against taking them back to back. This would be like taking call the night before a shelf exam. Both exams are energy draining, although each in a different way.
